BI Platform Administrator to support SAS 9.3 EBI &
SAP Business Objects 4.1 Platform and co-ordinate with customer and offshore
team for day to day support.
Experience in coordination with offshore team is needed
24/7 primary on call for SAS EBI 9.3 and SAP BO 4.1 Platform
Expert in trouble shooting with SAS EBI Client Tools for SAS Enterprise Guide
5.1, SAS Information Map Studio, SAS OLAP Cube Studio
Experience with working with the SAS and SAP vendor on product related issues
affecting to environment
Monitor & Audit SAS and Business Objects Platform Health and Usage for
anticipated growth for future and plan accordingly for future storage and
increased server capacity.
Analyze, Install & Configure new service packs and hotfixes from SAS
and SAP vendor portal
A strong understanding of the software components and configurations including
the Middle Tier, Metadata, Application Server and integration with Mainframe
environments is required.
Ability to independently problem solve and be self-directed, having attention
to details, and the ability to organize and analyze information and communicate
to Management
Experience supporting SAS EBI applications and reporting solutions that connect
to UDB DB2, Mainframe DB2, SQL Server, Oracle and Informix databases
Document routine operation tasks and mentor to offshore team
Proactively fine tune the environment to ensure ongoing availability and
performance metrics are met
Co-ordinate with critical situation team, asset/application owners and vendors
for system down situations
Content Migration from lower environments to production environment.
Experience with SAS mainframe a plus
Excellent written, oral communication skills and Leadership skills
Required Skills:
Minimum 10+ years IT Experience in Business Intelligence
5+ years of experience performing SAS EBI Administration tasks such as
installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of SAS 9.3 EBI software
components in a AIX or z/Linux environment
4+ years of experience performing SAP Business Objects Administration tasks
such as installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of SAP Business
Objects 4.1 software components in VM Windows 2012 R2 environment
