Complete Description:

The Child and Family Service Agency (CFSA) is initiating several modernization projects aimed at improving business processes, enhancing existing systems, and supporting a  mobile workforce. As part of this modernization effort CFSA is seeking a qualified Enterprise Architect to provide technical services described below:

DUTIES

•Meet with representatives of the Office of the Chief Technology Officer to understand the District’s direction and Enterprise Architecture.

•Assess and document the CFSA Enterprise Architecture as it relates to current state, transition state, and future state.

•Provide recommendations for transition state to align with our mobile strategy and recommendation on developing an application program interface (API) to systems we anticipate integrating with on a bi-directional basis.

•Create a detailed application documentation showing functionality map, unified modeling language (UML) diagrams both structural and behavioral, business process & system flows, interfaces etc.

•Create a process and triggers for updating the enterprise architecture application document.

•Review the enterprise application code, performance, reliability, interoperability, technology risks, infrastructure, and provide a report with actionable recommendation for improvement.

•Create a solution architecture template that future application design and development teams can review for a foundation on future application development effort.

DELIVERABLES

•Create  Enterprise Architecture Framework document.

•Review application code and provide actionable technical advice   for improvement, load time, and suggestions down to the line of code.

•Develop requirements document and level of effort for an application program interface (API) to systems we anticipate integrating with on a bi-directional basis.

•Create a solution architecture template that future application design and development teams can review for a foundation on future application development effort.

Behavior Characteristics:

Contractor shall be responsible for assuring that personnel have laptops and communication equipment. Contractors shall work onsite.
