Job Description: MMIS Project Manager - Needs Medicaid/claims processing/member/reference knowledge.
Must have a technical background - acts as TEAM LEAD, BATCH RELEASE MANGER, with SOME project management tasks. Must have excellent communication skills as will work directly with the client, at multiple levels. Must also work well within a team setting.
This position is for a technically knowledgeable and experienced PM to plan and coordinate activities around the client' system environment refresh. The client owns the data center, and there will be no activities around equipment purchase.Overall skillset needed: Experience with environment refresh (hardware/software) and related activities in terms of migrating an application (preferably an MMIS) to the new environment. This would include a solid understanding of the technical and testing activities needed to accomplish this effort. Solid project management and communication skills are a must, as the role requires coordination with various client organizations, and managing activities that some organizations will be undertaking. An on-site presence is required.
