Short Description:

The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS3) left BWC. We will fill this position as QA Test Lead for the Subrogation CORE project. This position is a key role for the CORE project.

 

Complete Description:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be the QA Test Lead for the Subrogation, UDS/Imaging, and correspondence for the CORE project. They will interact and communicate on a daily basis with business users (testers) and the business Test Leads. They will coordinate the testing efforts of all the business users for these areas and provide daily (and weekly) status reports of the testing progress for these areas. They will also work very closely with all the QA Test Leads for the CORE subprojects.

 

Experience

•Oral and written communication tools and techniques.

•Software development principles and methods for design, development, testing software.

•Standard software validation tools, software distribution tools and mechanisms.

•Technical writing and documentation practices.

•Reading comprehension, speaking, troubleshooting.

• Deal with problems involving several variables in familiar context, and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

•Experience with being the Lead for user acceptance testing.

•Assists with development, implementation and monitoring IT quality assurance standards and testing.

•Knowledge of automation tools, ability to write and execute test scripts.

•Clear understanding of various SDLC procedures.

•Obtains or imparts information from/to other technical staff and business personnel through discussion(s).

•Leads discussion(s) or formal meetings with technical and/or non-technical personnel.

•Conveys, in writing, recommendations or conclusions to another for decision making purposes in support of software development.

•Gathers, interprets and applies information from a variety of sources to aid in software development duties, activities, events.

•Answers questions and presents informal mentorship opportunities to peers and/or lower-level staff via conversation, observation or technical documentation.
