Short Description:

The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team.

 

Complete Description:

IN PERSON INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD ON 2/20 BETWEEN 9 AM -NOON.   There are no exceptions please make sure your candidates are aware this is required.

 

This is  a long term assignment -  800 hours until end of fiscal year June 30, 2014.  An additional 2000 hours FY2015.

 

Support the implementation and development of subsequent enhancements of ATPSIII by replatforming to newer technologies and reengineering the current subsystems, troubleshooting, enhancements, legislative mandates, etc.

2.  Updates to system may include, but are not limited to, the following modules in ATPSIII:

               - Title Issuance

- Electronic Title App – Gateway

- Electronic Title App - Portal

- Electronic Lienholder

- ATPSIII-EDIS bridge

               - NMVTIS

3. Provide expertise, guidance, support and/or training to DPS developers, as needed, as they transition from ATPSII to ATPSIII.

4. Work with the ODPS staff to update, patch, and repair the ATPS III application software components in the development, test, and QA environments, and develop software changes for promotion to production following best practice and standards as defined by ODPS.  Approvals and/or reviews by the engineering board and/or change control board as required.

5. Take corrective action, subject to the ODPS Management approval, to resolve all issues and problems encountered to ensure the application performs as required.

 

The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team. Programmers typically are involved in maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work. Programmers have a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by the Application Team. The Programmer works with the Functional Architect and Technical Architecture Specialist on an as needed basis to ensure that design and code meets customer requirements.

10 plus years

Preferred Education:

4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study preferred.

During the interview process with the ODPS staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal.  It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance.
