SAP Project Manager (Incident Mgmt, Testing) (Contract)

 The desired, high-level requirements are:

1.     SDLC/ASAP project management expertise (required)

2.     QA/Test Automation planning & execution expertise (required)

3.     SAP BPC functional & technical expertise (desired)

The candidate will be working directly with the SAP Material Management/Purchasing support team, NS Budget Planning & Operations group, and other groups as necessary.  The candidate will be responsible for the leading/guiding/advising the NS project manager through the BPC upgrade project.  Work will occur on premise, primarily in Roanoke, with (possibly) some travel to Atlanta and/or Norfolk.  Job duties will include:

1.     Quality control and guidance with regard to project set up, work breakdown, planning, deliverable definition, etc.  per the SAP ASAP methodology.

2.     Optimizing all project effort so as to maximize the application of industry standard Quality Assurance/Testing practices, with a specific focus on alignment with a planned NS effort to implement test automation throughout the SAP application.  This maximization effort will NOT meaningfully impact the project schedule or resource requirements..

           
Education:  4-yr College Degree preferred but not required depending on experience

Experience required:

·       2-5+ years of experience with ASAP/SDLC project management

·       2-5+ years of experience with Quality Assurance/Test Automation design and implementation

·       3+ projects as a practice lead, implementing industry standard Quality Assurance/Test Automation practices within a client organization

·       Hands-on repository design in Solution Manager with specific respect to testing automation

·       3+ years of experience in a client-facing project lead position

Description of Duties:
