Short Description:

This senior level programmer will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of .NET component solutions, using VB.net, for the DPW web-based applications.

The resource in this role will perform as a project lead or team member for the creation of highly complex web-based applications, and will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of .NET component solutions for the DPW web based applications. These .Net Component solutions, using VB.net, will meet the Department’s requirements to support public facing applications.  In addition, the consultant will assist in converting DPW's older applications to current .NET standards. Back-end coding skills must be strong in this role. This resource will also be responsible for ensuring that the web applications meet or exceed the data security standards set by DPW to ensure data integrity, as well as the Section 508 requirements for ADA Accessibility.
