The Programmer Analyst's role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. The Programmer Analyst will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.

 

Essential Functions:

 

 -Review current BizTalk Suite environment logical and system architecture.

- Gather high level understanding of key business functions/processes.

- Document hardware configurations of related servers

- Review total # of applications running on existing BizTalk production environment.

- Review exiting Trading Partner Details (Customer ; Supplier ; Dealers ; Carriers)

- Review existing Mappings; Schemas; Change Management process; Governance plans.

- Determine the complexity of the existing applications and how many users are accessing

- Arrive at high level functional and technical requirements

- Determine timelines and prioritize requirements

- Determine the volume of tickets, fixes, enhancements by month/quarter/ year from previous years? experience.

- Able to document functional and technical requirements, architecture, design, development and unit testing of solutions.

- Develop, execute, and ensure compliance with Application management team strategy, architectures, standards, and processes.

- Make modifications to existing solutions to accommodate changes and defect resolution.

To be considered for this position, candidates should have:

*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

*5+ yrs BizTalk development experience

*Ability to troubleshoot system problems and perform problem resolution.

*Must be able to work in a team environment and to contribute to multiple projects/tasks.

*Proven ability to interact with all levels of the organization, customers and vendors
