Complete Description:
1. Possess a general understanding of an Academic Institution and it's various parts and interactions. Concepts such as Departments, Divisions, Courses, Classes, Students, Enrollments, Curriculum, Transfers, Degrees, Instructors, Campuses, Locations.
2. Knowledge and understanding of PeopleSoft's design methodologies (common to all PeopleSoft products). Physical concepts such as Fields, which are on Records, which are on Pages, which are grouped together in Components, which are on menus. Functional concepts such as Adding New Values vs. Find an Existing Value, inserting/deleting rows, running processes in the process monitor, Run Control Records.
3. Knowledge specific to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions product (formerly Student Administration). Specifically, knowledge of Student Records, Student Financials, Academic Structure and Setup.
4. General knowledge of Oracle/SQL - ability to write/modify SQL for ad-hoc reporting needs. Specific knowledge of Campus Solution tables would be highly helpful, although current staff could help with explaining the structure of the tables.
5. Basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to read, comprehend, and follow suggestions and directions
