A JAVA developer is needed to develop and support JAVA and Oracle based applications. Write and modify application code based on the requirement, enhancements and production support. Collaborate development activities with other team members.
Years of Experience:
7 to 10 years of experience with complex, large scale application development and support using JAVA and Oracle based technologies.
Job Description:
• Understand requirement to write efficient application code.
• Create technical specifications as requested.
• Work with current application framework, design, write and modify application codes based on the new requirement, enhancements and production support.
• Review application issues and provide resolution.
• Provide production support, emergency release support and update defects logs.
• Collaborate development and integration activities with other team/group members.
• Should be an excellent team player and independently able to research and develop the new application code. Excellent communication skill is required.
Required Skills:
• 5+ years experience and integration of ORM tool like Hibernate, JPA, struts, spring and web services.
• 5+ years working experience with JAVA application development, design patterns, AJAX, servlet, JSP, HTML and JAVA scripts.
• 5+ years experience with Oracle SQL writing, tuning and PL/SQL programming.
• 5+ years experience with Oracle products and application servers.
• 4+ years experience translating requirement and entity relations diagrams/data model into application code.
Desired Skills:
• 3+ years experience with Weblogic, web service development and XML file handling.
• 2+ years experience creating technical design using sequence and class diagrams.
• 2+ years working with financial systems.
