This is a technical leadership position to provide Oracle application DBA expertise to both the PeopleSoft (PS) HR and Finance systems and teams as well as responsibility for the management and oversight of the PeopleSoft HR Infrastructure and System Administration resources and deliverables. This role works in collaboration with the PeopleSoft systems teams, management, and RE Technology Services, and others as appropriate, to deliver enterprise and system level consulting on PeopleSoft software architecture, design, and strategic direction as well as Oracle database and application tuning, performance monitoring, capacity planning, database-level security, etc.

o Proven ability to lead major technical project design, engineering and integration efforts with strong attention to detail

o Strong knowledge of computer software, such as SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL*DBA, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Programming, Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, Oracle Express Analyzer and Administrator, PeopleTools, Oracle 10g, PeopleSoft HR and Financials 9.0 application familiarity, etc
o Strong knowledge of Operating Systems, such as Redhat Linux 4-5.6, DOS, Windows 2008, Windows 7
o Extensive hands on experience with PeopleSoft Infrastructure and PeopleSoft System Administration area.
o Ability to work and collaborate effectively with offshore resources and associated support models.
o Tenacity; ability to work through problems and reach a solution.
o Ability to work in ambiguous situations.
o Proven ability to effectively influence peers and leaders.
