Complete Description:
Position will perform as a project lead responsible for the planning, designing and implementation of configurations in support of disaster recovery, high availability and data center relocation projects in regards to the mainframe environment. Position requires extensive knowledge of IBM z/OS operating system, hardware and related storage devices SAN and tape SILO, SYSPLEX and GDPS. Must have expert knowledge and reporting capability in respect to providing statistical reports of performance, tuning and capacity. Must be able to provide technical analysis and direction to data center staff and management.
Behavior Characteristics:
Must have excellent communication and presentation skills. Position will require project leadership in support of Data Center strategic initiatives.
