Day-to-Day

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with a background in Cisco and SolarWinds to join a fast paced IT organization supporting a large law firm. This candidate should have an in depth background with Cisco routers and switches and should also know the ins and outs of SolarWinds. This candidate will be responsible for taking incoming network related requests and tickets and will need to troubleshoot all network and data related issues. Most of the networking issues involve voice and security related issues. More importantly, this candidate will take on a SolarWinds project and will be expected to assess the current environment, make changes and new configurations, and help the team to use the project more efficiently. The manager would like to see a candidate who understands how to use the backup configuration, make sure standard configurations are set, and figure out how to use the voice quality module. This organization has 18 locations and over 300 network! devices, including WAN and LAN technology at each location.
