Complete Description:

Seeking to acquire a mobile and UI developer to develop desktop and/or mobile UI for the OCFO websites/applications. The contractor shall have expertise in Interaction, Visual or UX design and development of desktop and mobile applications. Please provide 2 references of websites/mobile apps deployed. Solid understanding and experience of markup skills and UI development technologies of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JavaScript, JQuery, KnockoutJS, JSON, and AJAX is required. Experience developing UI charting websites using google charts, JavaScript D3 and C3 libraries is a plus. Ability to develop web sites using HTML5 and other technologies that would be accessed using desktop and mobile devices is a must.

For developing mobile applications, strong IOS Objective-C and Swift skills and inside-and-out knowledge of the iOS SDK is required. Ability to storyboard and develop IOS applications as needed. The contractor shall develop, maintain and support current or new enhancements as necessitated by the users, DC council or legally mandated for existing or new applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 Contractor shall be responsible for web and mobile application UI for the OCFO.

1.         Expertise in Interaction, Visual or UX design and development of desktop, and mobile websites

2.         Proven experience of designing and developing desktop and mobile websites. Please provide 2 references of the websites/mobile apps developed.

3.         Solid understanding and markup skills utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. JQuery, KnockoutJS, JSON, AJAX

4.         Experience developing UI charting websites using Google charts,  JavaScript D3 and C3 libraries

5.         Ability to develop web sites using HTML5 and other technologies that would be accessed using desktop and mobile devices is a must.

6.         Hands-on experience in development of mobile iOS and Android applications

7.         Strong IOS Objective-C and Swift skills and inside-and-out knowledge of the iOS SDK.

8.         Ability to storyboard and develop IOS applications as needed.

9.         Experience developing UI in a collaborative fashion utilizing Visual Studio and/or Eclipse and ability to integrate UI with backend C#, Java code

10.       Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative fashion with report authors and backend developers.

11.       Coordinate with appropriate personnel to determine positive solutions that increase end user satisfaction, following through to completion, and communicating resolution results; escalate to management any situation that could adversely impact the service provided to the end user;
