Currently, we are seeking experienced Technology Analysts, with Mainframe experience, for the Metropolitan Washington, DC area.


Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
Understand requirements, create program specifications and unit test plans; develop codes; implement testing, transition and support activities; team and key stakeholders, participate in knowledge management activities to ensure high quality deliverables within the guidelines, policies and norms of Client.


Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of Mainframe experience.
At least 3 years of experience in development, testing, deployment of applications using of COBOL, JCL, DB2 and CICS.
Recent experience in building web applications using Mainframes, with experience of at least one successful development & deployment project.
At least 3 years of experience Software Project life cycle activities on software maintenance.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
Must be a US citizens.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current ADP II security clearance.
DoD / Tricare experience.
Experience working within Insurance domains.
Knowledge of ChangeMan and/or IBM File Manager and/or IBM Debug Tool
Ability to work within a diverse, multiple stakeholder environment.
Exposure to Agile methodology of project execution.
Knowledge of mainframe SAS.


The job entails sitting, as well as working, at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
