JOB DESCRIPTION:
Android UI Developer. Well versed in solving design problems in code and producing pixel perfect UI in a corporate environment. Will work closely with Design and Engineering teams.
Software Design Engineer 4-Lead - Responsible for overall design, development and team coordination on business systems/applications under deadlines. Management of development environment, resources, issues, bugs and escalation to proper channels. Manage communication of development team. Provide status reports to and meet with Client PM or vendor PM to discuss project status. Communicate standards and defend technology and scoping decisions to information technology management and development teams. 4+ years’ experience in role with visibility to large application projects with high UI polish.
Candidate will be working with the XBOX team on front-end user experience for the XBOX console, XBOX mobile app, Windows 10. Will spend 90% of the time manipulating and writing code (android)- building from design specs, and making sure the UI is polished. 10% of the time will be managing expectations between engineering and design teams. Will attend Scrum meetings a few times per week
