In the role of Technology Architect, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Location for this position is Bellevue, WA. This position may require 100% relocation
Qualifications
Basic
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years with Information Technology.
Required
• At least 7 years of experience in ETL and Reporting technologies
• At least 5 years of experience in Big Data Technologies
• Should have worked extensively in technologies involving Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Java
• Hands on experience in Big Data technologies
• Expertise in performance tuning and optimization
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience in Retail, CPG and Logistics Domain
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Primary Technical Skills: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, TypeSafe, Java
• Hands on experience in UNIX/LINUX scripting
Preferred
• Exposure to other new Big Data technologies available in market
• Exposure to TypeSafe
• Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
