Complete Description: The project manager needs to have been the lead on multi-year, multi-million dollar projects. They will be leading a group of 17, including developers, Q&A, BA’s and database staff. The PM MUST have experience working on an application development team and have some knowledge of Agile.
The PM will work in mostly a traditional waterfall methodology.
The will be working on concurrent projects.
Understand the overall business and strategic initiative goals as well as the timelines of those goals. Develop efficient and reliable metrics for measuring program and project progress towards those goals.
Work to ensure that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products and services on time.
Proven ability to develop effective relationships and to work at all levels of the company including senior and executive management. Experience working effectively across divisional or department lines in a complex organization.
Experience negotiating with external vendors and partnering on implementation or maintenance of 3rd party applications.
Results oriented and possess excellent analytical, facilitation and strategic planning skills.
Extensive experience with medium-scale projects and program management; including skills and in depth understanding of project management methodology, project management planning, issue tracking and reporting, etc
on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Usually reports to a senior manager.
