Description:

Client in San Antonio, TX has an immediate need for a SQL Database Developer for a 6 months contract-to-hire opportunity. 

Overview: 
Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. 

Required Experience: (2-4 years) 
- Hands-on experience with SQL Development. 
- Good communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills. 
- Strong preference for 4 year degree in Computer Science or related field, will consider 2 year degree and/or equivalent work experience. 
- Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals and realize value. 
- Ability to contribute to the creation of an environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team. 
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. 
- Ability to complete task on set budgetary parameters and targets. 
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member. 
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. 

Education: 
2 year degree plus experience or 4 year computer science degree.
