Complete Description: Senior Information Architect responsible for ensuring a positive user experience by planning and designing the information structure for large complex websites and applications. This position focuses on the target audience, the technologies that are used to create the sites and the actual information within the system. Must be an expert in organizing information and creating design strategies using data from usability testing.
Information Architects must be able to translate user behavior into media structure, craft interactive experiences, produce workflow diagrams and other production materials, as well as organize information into site maps, to name few job duties. They also must be able to coordinate with Web Producers and creative and production departments to implement their strategies. An understanding of web production software, such as Visio, Dreamweaver, Office and Photoshop is required. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience designing applications to meet client goals while adhering to usability principles and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.
