Immediate need for a Senior PeopleSoft HCM Developer on a contract basis. This
developer will be responsible for SQR and Application Engine development and
support for version 9.1.
Duties and Responsibilities
Meet with business analysts to analyze business processes, understand requirements, and recommend technical solutions
Based on business requirements, develop reports and interfaces using SQR; Document all custom code changes
Setup and configure process scheduler jobs and distribution
Perform unit testing and integration testing
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree a plus.
Experience with PeopleSoft HCM (version 8.9 or later) and PeopleTools required. Experience with upgrades a plus.
Exposure to various reporting technologies such as Business Objects or OBIEE is highly desired.
Minimum of 4 years experience with relational database architecture and models. (Oracle or SQL Server preferred).
Experience using a structured systems development methodology required.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills; Must have strong communication skills; Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks.
This position will provide support for systems development resulting from business requests, application updates and functionality upgrades by performing all steps in the development life cycle. Provide technical support for application development, data conversions, vendor interfaces and internal data transfers. This person must work onsite in Smithfield full time as they will be working with HR data. Prior experience in HR/Payroll. Top technical skills- SQR, Application Engine Development and Oracle/SQL skills.
