Seeking qualified candidates for a Tableau Architect in Baltimore, MD.  We are seeking a Tableau Architect who will be able to propose an enterprise level architecture for the Tableau Server implementation, including authentication, access, and security model; clustering; high availability; scalability; data access; performance monitoring; subscriptions and alerts; and other aspects as needed. The ideal candidate, will have experience, implementing and supporting large scale Tableau implementations.
Activities may include:
•Plan, design, and execute performance tests of platforms.
•Define and/or offer guidance on best practices during implementation and integration of the Tableau platform.
•Develop and document technical architecture, system designs, performance test results, and other technical aspects of Tableau implementations.
•Share best practices with the Business Intelligence team.
•Provide infrastructure and platform sizing for projects, including hardware and software requirements.
•As part of the team, develop technological approaches and best practices for migration of the legacy BI applications to the Tableau environment.
 
Skills Requirements:

Required Skills:

5+ years’ experience with Tableau - designing, architecting, implementing high value-add solutions and performing administrative activities across a multi-environment Tableau infrastructure.

Desired Skills:

Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Clear, precise written and verbal communication
Federal Government experience.

Education:  Bachelor's Degree + 11 years’ experience in information technology field.
