Complete Description:
Meets with customer and creates designs; uses software tools to gather requirements, analyze needs, propose designs, documents, and carry out analysis.
Works with the Department of Disability Services (DDS) and other District agencies to analyze data captured in the existing case management systems, determine business processes to be supported with current or new applications, Identify system enhancements to be implemented to improve the ability of the agency to capture key performance indicators, performs technology assesments based in business requirements.
Utilize existing data analysis software tools to analyze data to indentify performance trends and recommend improvements. Create reports using data visualization concepts to translate complex data sets into simple reports to be utilized by all levels of staff. Ability to create ad-hoc reports in a fast-paced environment.
Work with other areas in the DDS to upgrade applications.
Work with agency staff to create Statements of Work to provide technology solutions. Assist in vendor software evaluations; make recommendations on particular off-the-shelf products; building applications in house, and using non-technology solutions.
Work in close collaboration with developers in a fast paced deliverable driven environment to facilitate accurate translation of business requirements to IT solutions.
