Responsibilities:
- Involved in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) such as planning, analysis, design, implementation and maintenance of both store and corporate processes and applications.
- Streamline, update existing logic and support existing Store and Corporate mission - critical systems, such as Coupon Management System, Loyalty CRM System, Backoffice Store to Store and WMI Transfer System, Vertex Tax System.
- Worked with a team across multiple departments to develop the company’s Loyalty system from end to end. I built the points calculation backend process with Stored Procedures where users setup various Point Promotion rules. Also helped develop and continue to streamline the multiple stored procedures that are responsible for updating data from the transactional level to an account level in real-time as well as batch.
- Coded and designed the .Net Web application for Loyalty which serves as an interface to perform various functions to a customers account, point history, and coupon management which is used by our Customer Service department.
- Designed, developed and implemented multiple .NET windows applications for the business that were deployed to 1100+ store locations. Which included a custom built tax application that would set a stores tax rate as well as activate all UPC’s on the system to use up to 16 tax levels with multiple tax rules. The application would actively “listen” for new UPC’s or tax rates that could be sent down any time during store open hours.
- Involved in a company-wide transition from existing mainframe to SAP implementation. Repurposed existing VB6 Backoffice store applications as well as Mobile Scanner programming to utilize the new data feeds to SAP and develop new end-to-end processes to continue to support the business requirements.
- Developed and implemented the end-to-end process of providing the business with visibility of Stores hourly sales, traffic and other metrics to be visible to store, district mangers and up to Upper executives. I built the hourly data feed coming up from 1100+ stores, as well as build the ASP.NET web application that allowed multiple user views (store view, district view, regional view) and calculated various metrics and plans at hourly segments in real-time.
- Built and deployed the backend WCF web service along with the frontend ASP.NET web application on the company’s ECOMM site to allow customers to claim missing Loyalty Points by entering in receipt information. The Web service used logic to lookup against Netezza CRM system to calculate and apply missing points to customers account, as well as automate creating a ticket into the Customer Service ticketing system.
