Responsibilities:

  • While under contract for Confidential ’s client Westinghouse Nuclear, was responsible for management, design, and development of existing Hr, payroll, inventory tracking of fuel rods, and the MES BizTalk applications. The integrations were to and from SAP as well as proprietary payroll and he systems.
  • This using BizTalk 2013 and 2016. This was a backfill position until they could find a permanent resource. Also tasked with the interview process as well as selection of the appropriate candidate. This included multiple KTs bringing the new hire up to speed on systems operations as well as day to day tasks.

  • While under contract for Confidential, the only utilities company in Bermuda was brought in to recommend the upgrade of their Maximo - SAP integrations.
  • This included the full documentation of their existing systems and recommend, based on Best Practice, the approach to the upgrade.

  • While under contract executed in depth Health Checks across all environments. Analysis revealed that systems were in poor health needing customized SQL and PowerShell Scripting to be executed. This in itself increased the speed of throughput by 4000%. Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS)/Integration SOA Architect

  • While under contract with a major HMO created the base architecture for a public facing site using MOSS. Custom web parts were created for the integration with the disparate data sources and communications between related web parts. Data integration and dissemination uses BizTalk 2009 HL7 w/M LLP adapter for all messages. This site is utilized by consumers and Confidential to collect and monitor biometric data. Users have the ability to invite family members to view different levels of data.
  • This allows the HMO to have triggering Business Rules (BRE) for early intervention by healthcare providers. The data collection devices will be marketed by one of the largest retail electronic chains in America (Best Buy).

BizTalk Architect

Responsibilities:

  • While under contract with a major HMO was responsible for the creation and implementation of an EDI B2B solution that processes 837, 834, 227, 228, 997 EDI transactions. This solution utilizes a BizTalk 2006 R2 in conjunction with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), with a SQL Server 2005 back-end. The resulting EDI transaction data integrates with the internal Amisys Claim processing package on their HP6000.
  • Other responsibilities were to oversee the project team in India and New York. All customizations to the ESB. Portal and infrastructure were accomplished using C#. In addition, responsibilities included the creation of core architecture at an enterprise level and a complete BizUnit implementation to regression tests all transactions to the Partner level.
  • Additional responsibility was to architect, plan, and implement the complete conversion of BizTalk 2006 R2 to BizTalk 2009.
  • This included the transition of all artifacts as they related to BizTalk. An internal SharePoint-MOSS site was created to disseminate KPIs in real time via custom web parts that comprised the business dashboard. Additional departmental MOSS sites were created for document repositories where all EDI, inbound and outbound, documents are readily accessible.
