This web application is built to provide online transfer of large amount of data from various laboratories to one central server. Large amount of data contains information of the study taken by the machine on the patient. That study can be done on different places but those data must be sent to centre location. This application uses “ActiveX” component which uses “Xceed” components for compression and FTP transfer. Also Data transfer, management is required at centre location about all laboratories, users and files transferred by internet.
- Module: User and Role Management
It provides Role management with access rights mechanism. Also maintains user information based on the role and handles individual access rights according to which site navigation will be changed for different activities.
- Module: Site and Protocol Management
Laboratories which are called “Site” and for each study of there will be some “Protocol” defined. This module maintains “Site” and “Protocol” mapping as well as the protocol assignment to Users. Each protocol will have different rules defined for File name and extension which are allowed to be transferred electronically.
- Module: “ActiveX” component
ActiveX component will be used to select the files according to “Site-Protocol” rules. All files will be uploaded to the FTP address set by the administrator.
