IT Help Desk Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Writes and maintains front end software for several important functions. Most of the projects below are ones that I, myself, saw a need for and I brought them to the table to save man hours.

This project allows helpdesk associates to proactively call the stores as a problem arises---sometimes without the store management even knowing a problem existed. Very effective and saves countless man hours in the field and ½ man hour nightly at the Helpdesk.
  • Countless scripts to automate the daily remote functions of the helpdesk. This includes resetting flags at the stores, automating data recovery, streamlining the remote software installation for new hardware devices, etc.
  • Designs, builds and installs new systems for field locations

  • Constantly learning and training on new technology. Recently attending 3 days of T-SQL classes as well several other classes at New Horizons over the last two years.
