I was hired to convert the legacy applications which were written in vb6 and vb.net 2003 to the latest version of the .NET Framework and all new projects.
I worked as the Lead Developer where I wrote database driven web and windows based applications for all types of business needs.

I adapted a piece of software that printed DOD flight plans to work with two different mission planning software packages; JMPS and PFPS.
This software was written in C#.
During this adaptation I used multi - threading to process the detection when JMPS or PFPS were launched as to not interfere with regular processing.
I was able to implement an interface and reduce the overall code of the application by about 2000 lines of code.
All of my work for this company was written in C# (.Net Framework 2.0.

I worked on the maintenance team for a mission planning software for an Air force contract.
This application was build in VB6 and C++.

I worked a lot on a piece that calculated fuel consumption for aircraft flight plans, and another piece that printed the flight plans out to excel spread sheet.
Also, I was on a team to develop a new version of the program written in C# that calculated takeoff and landing data for all types of aircraft.
A requirement for this project was to use Test-Driven development.
