The project consisted of migrating an existing VB 4.0 DB2 and Unisys mainframe application to an ASP.NET VB.NET VB and C JavaScript ADO.NET and SQL 2000 architecture.

• I worked closely with our DBA s to implement the CONNX product line to maintain data integrity between the existing mainframe application and the new Pre-Certification application. Some of the key aspects of the application included a VB tiff buster application that converts incoming faxes to tiff images through our Castelle Fax Press software. These images are then viewable through the Pre-Certification application and a customized .net / Java FileNet application. Employees in data-entry use the two applications side-by-side to transpose the fax data into the Pre-Certification Web Application. Various form validation and eligibility algorithms are ran to determine provider and patient eligibility.
