This allowed agent's browsers to appear to be operated by remote control so that the browser would automatically look up the caller's information based on account numbers they typed in over the phone without intervention from the agent.
• Ported customer data for the Los Angeles Times from a Tandem database to Oracle 9i. Wrote a utility in VB6 to extract data from the tandem database, reformat dates and other data, then insert the data into Oracle.
