Responsibilities:

  • Converted in-house allocation system to external hosted solution. Updated all CICS processes to invoke a new batch process I created to extract and filter eligible data, reformat the data, and send via SFTP to the hosted location. Project was completed on time, and increased productivity by a factor of 10. COBOL/DB2/CICS/JCL
  • JAD lead analyst of garment Quality Assurance system. Designed DB2 tables and data flow process between client server front-end and mainframe processing. Wrote all mainframe processing which were 10 COBOL/DB2/CICS programs. Worked closely wif users and consulting team writing the VB6/ASP front-end. Project was delivered on-time, wif more functionality TEMPthan promised, doubled productivity and eliminated 90% of processing problems found in the old system.
