Re-wrote existing code and wrote new code(some prototyping) for application containing multithreading which configured/controlled/ran a machine connected to a Canon camera that took pictures of a book’s pages and saved the resulting jpeg and raw images(digitized books). The application controlled the camera via Canon’s SDK 8.4 and the application controlled the machine’s physical movement via firmware. Wrote new code to read/write xml files containing metadata, added new Raw image format option, added log file capability, re-wrote message handling code that parsed hexadecimal messages from firmware.
