PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Confidential, Natick, MA
Responsibilities:
- Worked on TI’s new C6000 embedded processor series.
- Developed device-drivers for various peripherals of C6455DSK and DM6437EVM evaluation boards are listed as follows:
- ADC, DAC, DIP and LED blocks (Supported by Board)
- PWM block for on-chip module on TMS320DM6437
- Developed demos to emulate RTDX host to target communication on DM642EVM board.
- Testing of various modules and peripherals of C2000 DSP processors like F2808, F2812 and F28335.
- Developing communication link between TMS320DM6437 and Xilinx Spartan-3A FPGA for video stabilization demo.
- This experience includes extensive C based device-driver code debugging, block-mask editing and GUI development
- I’ve also worked on a very novel design project including multi-platform processing having TMS320DM6437 DSP on one end and XILINX FPGA on other end.
- This project was also termed as Hardware-software co-design project due to its inherent software part (DSP) and hardware part (FPGA)
- Implementation involved the demonstration of how the over-clocked FPGA at 250 MHz provides higher frame-rate while processing incoming video data and passing the sum of absolute difference values to the DSP
- DSP calculates the distance vector and tracks the image.
