.NET Developer/Architect

Responsibilities:

• Architect and sole developer of OrderWiz, a manufacturer rep system which is used by various manufacturer rep firms from around the county. Well over a million orders totaling over a billion dollars has been entered in OrderWiz. This system included order entry, invoice tracking, commission reconciliation, commission payroll and well over one hundred eighty Crystal reports. (Role: Gathered user requirements, designed, developed and tested solution using VB6.0, SQL Server, ODBC, Crystal Reports)
• This system, which I had originally developed in VB6.0, was completely re-written and expanded into a WinForms, n-tier application using C# (3.5), ADO.NET, Crystal Reports, Design Patterns and XML. I am currently in the process converting this system to WPF using C# (4.0), ADO.NET, Crystal Reports, Design Patterns and XML. The SQL Server database currently consists of 210+ tables, 450+ views, 1,100+ stored procedures and 140+ user-defined functions. • I also developed a web-based companion to the OrderWiz for enhanced customer supports. The rep’s customers can log on to view current prices sheets, news and events, register for upcoming events and . This web application was developed in ASP.NET web forms using C# (3.5). All vendor and customer data is automatically maintain utilizing a publisher/subscriber pattern. On a scheduled basis through the day, a windows service extracts data from the behind-the-firewall OrderWiz database and ftp’s that data to the server hosting the web app. A window service on that server automatically updates the database utilized by the web app. Access is managed using the Microsoft Provider. I am currently converting this web application to Silverlight. Responsibilities:

• As the solutions architect for Confidential ’s professional services group, was the primary contact with the clients in the development and deployment of workforce intelligence solutions. This has required direct engagement with the customer from pre-sales to the development of the statement of work to the detail design documents to actual development and to implementation. On-site implementations normally ranged from a week to a few months. A partial list of clients included U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Northrop Grumman, San Francisco Airport, Amgen and Anadarko Petroleum and Wendy’s.
• Role: Gathered user requirements, designed, developed and tested solutions along with providing client . Most development included C# (2.0), ASP.NET and ADO.NET frontend and SQL Server and Oracle backend.

Responsibilities:

• Being both a Microsoft Solution Provider and a Novell Reseller, designed, installed, and supported both the networks and the applications that run on them.
• Developed applications to track compliance to labor contracts, plan employee salaries, produce employee appraisals, and produce and monitor sales orders for manufacturer reps.
• Sole designer and developer database application what managed the processing of the separation of employees of one of the two companies involved in a major merger (ExxonMobil merger: Mobil employees). This included the composition of the separation packages, the total of which exceed over a half of billion dollars. Most of the development was in VB6.0, ASP, ADO, Crystal Reports and COBOL. The backend was in SQL Server, DB2, Oracle and IMS DB/DC.

Responsibilities:

• Lead mainframe programmer/project leader in a cooperative processing development project.
• This application maintains data for and produces management reports on sub-surface equipment and operations for oil wells
• (Manage Sub-surface Data portion of the PRISM Project). This project required continuous interaction with the project's clients in order to determine required tasks, priorities and resources requirements. From this I would construct a project plan and would monitor results. This effort contributed to the project finishing on time and within budget.
