Application Developer / Founder

  • Created a social networking environment for .Net developers in around the St. Louis area where individuals of like mind could come together to keep their skills sharp, collaborate, grow, possibly even enlist themselves in contract work. This group has grown to include members outside of the St. Louis area but mostly still in Missouri facilitates contract work for varying types of clients in Missouri not limited to but to include non-profit organizations, churches, businesses that might operate on a smaller budget than larger corporations. As this is not an actual company per se, we have the luxury of charging lower bill rates for the work that we do than larger IT firms can afford to do when they have other overhead costs to consider that we do not. Additionally, each member of the group has the ability through the group website which I built to submit examples of their work, upload their r sum s, bid on or post projects for others.
  • Environment: This varies as each developer maintains their own environment the locale for each developer may be different from that of the next / previous. The group website is http://www.stl-web-design.com/dnn/Home.aspx which has contact information as well as examples of the work that's been done through this group. That all said, my personal development environment consists of Subversion source control, SQL Server 2012 R2, Visual Studio 2010, Mono Development Studio, Team Foundation Server, Notepad , Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, Firefox, Internet Explorer all on a Windows 7 PC.
