Created an MVC / Entity Framework internal web application for Maritz. On this project, the following technologies were implemented:

  • C was the primary back end programming language utilized with some JavaScript embedded via RegisterStartupScript calls from the C code behind
  • The versions used were MVC 2 on C ASP.NET 2.0 framework with Entity Framework
  • JavaScript was utilized for button click events, some showing hiding of visual controls, as well as handling some other events page unload, key trapping, etc.
  • jQuery was utilized for serializing data transfer from the form rendered controls to the form model for the page
  • AJAX calls were utilized to encapsulate the serialized form model from the jQuery call to convey back to the controller for each view

  • This project consisted of change requests to the client, design of the architecture for the application, design of the database, design of a windows service to be deployed on a server for the purpose of monitoring folders for new trigger files sent from the Finance Department of the client when new clients are obtained. These clients will then be entered into our global system scheduled for client feedback surveys emailed notifications periodically about new surveys that are available. Once these surveys have been completed or refused by the client, a new notification will be sent to the account manager for that client alerting them of a completed survey for their review.
