In this role, I work as a Senior Developer in the Pegasys Replacement Project development team which is part of ExxonMobil s Downstream IT Department (Exxon DSIT). The Pegasys application Suite is one of Exxon s in - house, legacy Process Engineering Software applications originally built in the late 60 s. My Team has been tasked with rewriting Pegasys from scratch in C# and WPF with a SQL server database. My duties, amongst many others, mainly involve working closely with the Business leads (Chemical Engineer Domain Experts) to analyze and review module specification and spec documentation, design and create GUI s in WPF with user experiences which satisfy the Business Leads requirements, coding complex Process Engineering equations and algorithms (the basis of the application output) in C#, optimization of said algorithms to ensure execution times fall within acceptable ranges specified by the Business Leads and creating reports, datasheets and refinery technical drawing diagrams which are some of the core assets of the Pegasys application suite. Most of these application assets are developed using Infragistics WPF Libraries. I am contracted to ExxonMobil through TekSystems.

I worked as a full time on-site consultant on the Studio Server for Techlog project and also on the Studio manager for Techlog Ver15.1 project described in my previous role below. I was employed as a full time on-site consultant on the Studio Manager for Techlog project. This is one of the key applications in Schlumberger’s new Studio E&P Environment Knowledge suite. The Studio Manager application acts as the tool used by Studio administrators to manage E&P data within Studio Repositories. I was involved in the full project lifecycle from elaboration of the user story tasks with the Schlumberger Portfolio team, followed by 19 product construction iterations and finally the Beta release to the client which was BP (British Petroleum). I was brought in as a consultant to help design and develop the new GGC Online training Management Portal. The Portal had been previously outsourced to a few contractors abroad.
