PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Sr. Application Developer
Confidential, Lafayette, IN
Responsibilities:
- Converted static markup ASP.NET pages over to a dynamic control system. This now makes it possible for multiple States (Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, etc) to define how their pages behave and what questions are required for Multi-Family Grant Applications within one application server and one database. This reduced redundant code, maintenance nightmares, and requires less hardware/hosting.
- Architected alongside one other developer a core MVC structure of a popular desktop application owned and supported by Roeing. The core MVC version was purchased by a prominent school scheduling corporation. We worked closely with the 3 rd party to get them up-to-speed with MVC and our architecture for further development.
- Perfected a “Snapshot” feature that was convoluted and never successfully completed for years at Roeing. It allows for versioning and permissions of Multi-Family Grant Applications among State and Constructor stakeholders. This required weeks of close communication with Business Analysts and State Employees, as well as close consideration of time and budget.
