• I designed an application in VB.NET to support the ETL process of extracting data from text files generated by Mainframe system and converting them into excel sheets. I used SQL bulk insert to load the data from excel files to SQL tables. I created views that joined tables across multiples systems. These views were used by Workday team to load data into their system.
• I provided enhancement and support work for Applicant Information System. This system keeps track of all the students applying for various courses for undergraduate degree. I designed and developed forms using VB.Net. • Designed, developed and tested Epic Software Modules. These modules helped automate Epic’s day to day functioning and used by operational team to carry out their daily activities. VB .NET, SQL Server 2005, MS Access and Crystal Reports are used for developing these modules.
• Developed the tool which provides functionality to look up all the information for the particular plan based upon plan name or plan id. The information is displayed in 8 different SStab controls on a windows form. There were around 200 controls (Text boxes, list boxes and list view) in the whole form. The form provides Http link for each plan and button to take user to that link. This tool is using three databases in the back end which are SQL Server, MYSQL and MS Access. A user can select a plan id or client name and a report will be generated in excel with all the information for that selected tab control. Implemented auto fill feature to fill the plan Id and plan name drop down control when user start typing the plan id or plan name.
• This application provides functionality to generate excel report and upload the report on FTP server. Application also emails these reports to certain recipients. The application takes input from multiple SQL Server data tables through joins and stores certain fields of table into temp table created by application. Through different queries against temp table, report gets generated in the specific format and emailed and uploaded on FTP Sever.
• This application provides functionality to retrieve data from text file which is in tab separated format. It formats the data and stores in MS Access table. Application reformates the data from table and generates 6 different Text files. It also provides button to generate eight crystal reports according to the specific criteria.
• This application’s main interface is Windows form which has list view control to display all the data in the grid. The grid fetches data from access table. When the user select the list view item, the item contents are displayed in text boxes and option buttons. User can edit single data item or multi edit them. Save button saves the data back into database. It also generates the excel report with all the changes done by user.
