  • I was involved in the development of ADClean which is a nightly task that is run against the Active Directory to expire, disable, delete, or transfer users to another OU.
  • This task scheduler was written in C#, using NetIQ Rest based services. Project was designed having a data layer, business layer, and the console app. Data layer had all the calls made to the NetIQ web service to make edits to the Active Directory. Business layer had all the business logic which was met before calling the data layer. Used DirectoryServices to create new test OU and users for unit tests. Used Log4net rollingfile for all logging purposes.
  • Business layer had all the search rules in LDAP query to search for users to Expire/Disable/Delete.
