Responsibilities:

Automated Energy had hired me in an effort to equip them with an updated software offering that would attract larger, more 'enterprise-level' clients. My initial focus was creating a brand new front end application that would move them away from their Java Applets dependency, as well working out wireframe ideas with mock ups to establish what the new look and feel of the UI/UX would be.
After several discussions with the group to establish a consensus on this, I was then approved to begin my work with an Angular 2 front end that would be integrated with a Java EE-Spring-Hibernate backend via REST and secured with OAuth2 Spring Security. Starting with an existing Angular 2 template, the majority of my front-end development focused on updating their main energy analysis tool, Load Profiler, while I also started building their new Spring-REST backend from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

Due to the size of this website, I opted to use a html and css starter template to get up to speed quickly. I embedded AngularJS 1.5 into this template so that it could eventuallybe integrated with a Spring Java EE backend via REST. This was a very involved and encompassing site that consisted of a home page, find an agent page, contacts page, plus 14 insurance product and 6 financial product pages.
My favorite takeaways from this project were using Greensock to develop a fully customized banner from scratch with navigation controls, and an interactive find an agent page using an existing SVG county map of Oklahoma. I appreciated my time here very much and thank Confidential for the opportunity to mature as a front end developer and make my first serious steps into UI and UX.

Responsibilities:

In my spare time, I have worked on my own Confidential for the last few years to improve my graphic design, front end development, and JavaEE-Spring skills and hopefully generate additional side income. It has undergone several revisions. The current version uses a custom Angular 4/Angular Material view that communicates with a Java EE-Spring4-Hibernate4 backend via REST.
It will be secured with JWT and OAuth2 Spring Security. It also communicates with 3rd party APIs using its own REST client. In the future, I am interested in developing Android and iOS mobile development applications to integrate with the Java-Spring-REST-Hibernate backend.
