Mice gene expression was analyzed through the use of Python, and RStudio to predict HIV peptidyl vaccine candidate.
Using position specific scoring matrices (PSSM) of relevant epitopes, this study combines the research of previous in vivo research to analyze expression changes between the Confidential - II isoforms. Binding Affinity was then examined to identify the strongest target for each HIV-1 peptide, which was then multiplied by the PSSM epitope score.
This value was then multiplied by the expression level of the Confidential -II isoform of the highest affinity of the immunosenescent mice to account for the aging of the immune system.
This represented the grand total score, and therefore the strongest peptidyl vaccine in the HIV-1 genome.
