Responsibilities:

Theoretical and experimental research on failure modes and processes in advanced aerospace structural materials.
Designed several computer based automated test systems for data collection, analysis and presentation. These systems are used by researchers at the Confidential Composite Materials Laboratory, Confidential, to conduct experimental research on advanced materials.
Designed, built, and tested advanced composite material prototypes that exhibit near-zero thermal expansion across a wide range temperature range. This was part of a Confidential sponsored project to develop structures for operation in severe space environments.
