Managed development team, improved and maintained the site, developed new mobile site, and new ERP integration. Originally site done in Ruby on Rails, recently switched to Magento to save on custom development costs. Data transformation automation uses Clojure.
  • Architect and lead developer for Century Park Consulting from . Century Park provides predictive software and data analytics for the hospital industry.
  • Architect, advisor, and developer for Axiom.tv from . This is a family friendly movie down-load and purchase website. I have helped out putting out fires and solving problems their existing developers couldn’t take care of. I worked on query performance and bugs, a firefox add-on download manager, their DRM solution, flash, flex and air runtime for video playing and their website. I redid their entire ColdFusion and Flash site in Ruby on Rails and html/javascript. I also took over development of all of their smartphone applications. Some minor projects were done using Clojure.

I took a module the in-house developer spent 10 months struggling to create, completely rewrote it and added significant additional functionality in three weeks. I also worked on some other modules they weren’t able to implement by themselves, and cleaned up their code base and architecture.
  • Architect/Lead Developer for Hubnotes from . This project is an innovative attempt to redo project management to make it simple and addictively easy. I have written all of the code myself. This was a Flex/Flash front-end with a Ruby on Rails back-end. This project hasn’t moved past a small amount of initial angel funding.
  • CTO/Architect/Lead Developer for Implexus from . This is a Sarbanes-Oxley management suite for smaller companies. It achieved profitability with a solid and very competitive program in a small niche market.
  • Technology Advisor/CTO/Architect/Lead Developer for “The Democracy Machine” from . This was partially funded by Esther Dyson in 2007, and involved Joe Trippi as Chief Political Officer and Andreas Weigend as an advisor, but failed to obtain sufficient funding to go further.
