SUMMARY

I work with Java, Android specifically, on a daily basis. Between web and Android development I have over nine years of professional experience with Java. I've developed using many mobile hardware features including GPS using geofencing and directions, Bluetooth, image analysis using barcodes and facial recognition, Firebase / Google Cloud Messaging
I've been awarded accolades based on my work. I was a member of the Purdue AITP. Our team won first place in a software design and development contest. I also had the opportunity to work on two research projects; one in 2006, a mobile application based on image content analysis, and another in 2007 using the Microsoft Surface.
