The Dealer Management System Portal is used to Punch the Orders and Receipts online using the web portal. The same Orders and Receipts are imported in Oracle APPS Using standard APPS API.
The Master data (Customers, Sites, Address and Broker, Item Master etc) of APPS is taken into Local Database for Order Entry and Receipt Entry, Which is done by using the Custom PLSQL Procedures. This data is exposed to End user (Dealer and Customer who are going to punch the Order and Receipt) through Portal. These PLSQL blocks are scheduled using the database Scheduler for Synchronization of APPS Master data dependent upon Update Frequency.
The Confidential People are doing data entry of 500-800 Order daily in Apps, now because of this solution Dealers/Customers are doing Order entry online so their effort of doing data entry is reduced.
Also the Manual process of fixing the quantity, rate by sales Person is reduced.
