Responsibilities:

• I was the Architect and Manager for this project team and was responsible for system design, prioritization, tracking progress and in ensuring timely deliveries.

• I was a Technical Consultant and a Lead for Provider Data Systems and led teams to build both new systems from scratch and to enhance and maintain existing critical business applications.
• I was the lead for the NQ Automation project and worked directly with business to come up with rules to automate new health plans and to increase automation percentages.
• I optimized a legacy application that moved data from the provider management system to the claim processing system. This batch job ran 4 times a day and used to take 4 - 6 hours on most occasions. After redesigning and optimizing the application and database, the run time was brought down to 1 - 1.5 hours for most cases.
• I created drill down dashboards for monitoring that presented a system wide view of all the batch applications that this group was responsible for. The user could drill down to get system related metrices per application.
