  • My most complex project was a massive tablet app for a health care management services company.
  • Currently this company employs over 500 nurses nationwide to visit patients on behalf of most major HMOs and complete a 21 page health questionnaire.
  • The app enables the nurses to electronically file this questionnaire, as well as handle data validation.
  • This application includes scheduled information, drug data lookups, backend form submission and many other features.

  • I also worked on a tablet app for a newspaper/circular delivery company. This app provides daily route information to their hundreds of delivery agents nationwide, tracks and reports deliveries, enables drivers to take pictures of delivery sites and packages and automatically discovers and connects to available wifi networks.
  • It replaces their existing cellular based system saving tens of thousands of dollars of expenses every month.

  • FLEX, Java, Websphere Commerce and Spring technologies. POS enables stores to integrate their brick and mortar operations with their Internet E-commerce platform creating the ability to effectively manage cross channel sales.
  • My role on this project was design and implementation of the in-store server using the Spring Framework, product data migration and load, and FLEX GUI design for product search, implementation of product data indexing and search functionality using Lucene and product return functionality.
  • My role was to lead a team of developers in collecting business requirements, creating high level design documents, and developing Java code for the membership management component. This area included the registration, account management, logon, email marketing campaigns interfacing with Confidential, and affiliate discount program functionality.
  • My role was to integrate Websphere Commerce with the backend services via a WebLogic interface.
  • The backend services were responsible for maintaining product and organization, and user data. Messages were transmitted from the backend systems, transformed using WebLogic into XML messages that were fed to WCS via an MQ Server.
  • Once received, the inbound messages were validated using XMLBeans and processed and loaded into the system using Java.
