Responsibilities:

  • Experience in designing and delivering complex, microservice applications and API development (preferably ETL logic) in Java and/or Python
  • Deep understanding of both relational and non - relational databases
  • Experience in SQL programming, hands on with any RDBMS like Teradata, Oracle or SQL Server
  • Experience in a Unix/Linux environment
  • Unix familiarity and shell scripting experience
  • Familiarity with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Release Management
  • Working knowledge of source-code control using GitHub is required.
  • Assist in automation of on premise and cloud based Hadoop clusters
  • Deliver high performance code into production cloud applications in a team environment
  • Experience in architecting, developing and/or maintaining production-grade cloud solutions in virtualized environments such as Google Cloud Platform and/or Pivotal Cloud Foundry

  • Lead and contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle for Enterprise Data applications including current production and any future applications
  • Create and enhance administrative, operational and technical policies and procedures, adopting best practice guidelines, standards and procedures
  • Has led a medium-sized team before with data integration as main technology.
  • Has a good leadership skill.
  • Provide project status and progress updates to management/leadership.
  • Experience with Jira and/or Pivotal Tracker
  • Preferably has worked with diverse, multi-cultural, multi-location team.
  • Must have willingness to work with and assign work to offshore teams
