Associate Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Social Commerce and B2B integration with Web2.0 Store: In this release we developed social Commerce features like blogs product ratings from users, Advanced Chat interfaces and B2B features for to the current Web2.0 Store. We provided the AJAX and Non AJAX flows which can be enabled and changed feature wise from admin tool. And we also applied TCOI standards for the store. And we developed some dojo widgets also as part of the store development.
- Web2.0 Store development using Services: The web2.0 store includes high end features like Ajax enablement, RSS feeds, client chat interfaces, reach user interfaces. And we used the Order, Catalog, Member, Marketing, Store services by replacing the traditional EJBS.
- Store SOA development: This is where we first looked forwarded for service oriented architecture for WebSphere Commerce. ISL took the responsibility to develop the Store services and other services like Catalog, Order, Marketing and Member services distributed across other partner labs. These services will be used in store front and CMC later on. This architecture is intended to support multiple client consumers like web, mobile web, mobile app, and tablet.
- Store Events, Store locator and loyalty dev., and integration: These are some of the advanced features we developed for B2C store model, and then integrated same set of features for other store models. User should be a special customer to use some of these features.
- EAR Updater Enhancements: This feature is used by Publish, Flex flow, Chan flow, Change style, Upload and other mass load operations. This will be very effective when the Commerce server runs on clustered environment.
- Organization Participant Role development for V6: This feature will give an extra ability to the user to act on behalf of an Account other than the account he/she is registered with. This is one of the powerful features we delivered during V6 release.
- Test Distribution Frame work: Test Distribution Frame work is a platform which automatically takes care of all the processes required from making build to running and sending the test case results. It runs the Build Scripts for a scheduled time and then it finds the list of machines and their platforms and then runs the installations and configurations according to the platforms, and then prepares machine pools and runs the test buckets on the test pools, and finally it sends the test results.
