Responsibilities:

  • Researched industry standards for calculating annual percentage yield earned (APYE), to determine why antiquated code was dropping accounts from monthly statements. Determined that market volatility in addition to the existing code was creating the issue. Worked closely with Product Management and Development manager to effectively resolve the issue for the client.
  • Collaborated directly with client to build specifications for a reconciliation process that did not match up with Broadridge’s nightly batch processing. Designed and coded the programs and jobs to meet the client’s needs and clarified the process to the rest of development team.
  • Retrofitted applications to meet regulatory requirements as per Securities Exchange Commission and industry standards.
  • Developed code in a file tolerance check application to send e-mail notifications to clients and support staff in the event of issues with a file being too large or too small.
